With music easily made and readily shared by artists every day, there are hundreds of high quality songs that fly under the radar. Every week, @BEWARE4 scours the web to weed out the dimes from the duds and share the wealth via BEWARE’s Block, a collection of buzzing tracks from artists currently breaking ground in their respective genres.

Want to see your music featured here? Send your music to submissions@stillcrew.com with “Attn: BEWARE’s Block” in the subject.

REMBLE — “Paint The Town Blue (Freestyle)”

“You don’t even know me, why you get involved?” The MC whose flow feels like a high-profile defense attorney has returned. Listen as REMBLE rocks his “Paint The Town Blue (Freestyle)” with style for miles and quotes for days, delivering warm weather vibes for those who can still participate and hot ass raps for everyone else.

Sheefy McFly Feat. Boldy James — “Detroit Players”

Sheefy McFly might be the most notable visual artist in Detroit, but his audible game is just as nice. Peep game on “Detroit Players” from McFly and Boldy James and hear the two 313 pillars breaking down game like Monty Williams, only with way more gold in the mix (hopefully not for long). Stream this stand-out and more via Sheefy’s new P.E.R.M. EP here.

ALLBLACK Feat. E-40 — “Life Of The Party”

The thing I like most about ALLBLACK enlisting E-40 for his new single “Life Of The Party” is this record legit sounds like an old Click record from 1994. Between the bumping live bass groove, plucky guitar licks, and neck-snapping drums, Forty Water sounds right at home as the song’s anchor, while AB lays down the itinerary up front to get the party activated. You know what to do come Friday.

Terria Jai — “Bum Chick”

There will be certain people Terria Jai offends with “Bum Chick,” but something tells me the Detroit MC won’t lose any sleep. The latest single from Jai lays out the blueprint for a basic bee who’s rough around the edges at home and an exclamation point when on camera, making sure she’s the priority despite never earning the acclaim. Terria Jai stays coming correct with the concept cuts and when she’s rocking the melodic flow over beats this unique, she’s got the right to act bossy.

Case Arnold Feat. Bryant Taylorr & Ron Gilmore — “Tequila Diaries”

With a title like “Tequila Diaries,” Case Arnold could’ve gone various directions with this September single I somehow missed. Instead, the blue collar spitter created a dedication to staying afloat in his Tennessee stomping grounds. The smooth and melodic joint teams Arnold with his talented hombres Bryant Taylorr and Ron Gilmore to let listeners know the show can stop at any time and to make the most of those hours while you’re still clocking them.

IGWE AKA — “Pisces”

IGWE AKA has been dealing with a “Pisces” and he might be going out of his mind. Listen to the Nigerian-born rapper’s new single and hear someone who’s losing control and managed to capture the reckless yet slow-moving results in under two minutes, delivering jaded singsong raps via a flow that falls out of his mouth. This track is quite the vibe.

SEB — “Loving You Is Harder”

Some relationships are more difficult than others. On “Loving You Is Harder” from SEB, the downtrodden MC uses his melodic flow to describe the rollercoaster of emotions he rode when partnering with a beautiful someone who has a reputation of breaking hearts. The track is positive regardless and somehow quite peaceful, despite knowing how much noise is behind the scenes. Stream SEB’s We Were So Beautiful EP in full here.

Asiris — “My Friend’s Toyota”

For anyone wondering if I’m listing these songs with any bias, let it be known my favorite song on The Block this week is the last one, “My Friend’s Toyota” from Asiris. This guitar-laden ditty from the extremely talented Austin singer-songwriter is a masterclass is simplistic authenticity and the way this rugged alternative love record grabbed my soul immediately tells me this one is a good bet for blast off.
