Jordan Ward — “Lil Baby Crush” Video

Ready for a new fave? Lock in “Lil Baby Crush” from Jordan Ward and you’re good to go. This new single from the LA-based dancer-turnt-singer is easy to sweat over, because the easygoing record leaves a strong impression immediately via content that feels original and comfortable in every regard.

Poison Ivi — “Far From Here” Video

Second gen rappers are making more noise than ever, but one I wasn’t hip to was Lil Boosie’s daughter, Poison Ivi. Check out Ivi’s new video “Far From Here” and check the rising star delivering honest raps about growing up in a generation that has jaded priorities, via the same transparent passion that put her dad on the map. She’s clearly a star in the making, and closer than most already.

Perrier Rosewood — “Parlay” (Prod. by Eli Myles)

Every couple of days Perrier Rosewood’s heavy melodic mood on “05 Fubu” pops in my head and I’m always immediately more fly. Now, we’ve got freshly-squeezed juice from the Detroit rapper in the form of “Parlay.” The guitar-laced banger is another radio-ready jam that finds Rosewood smoothing things out with his ice cold melodic flow to reel in whatever he’s aiming for.

Bigg Jo Feat. Lil Blade — “White Buffs Black Tee” Video

Even though Cade Cunningham recently made the nation familiar with Detroit’s love of Cartier frames, the infatuation has been ongoing for decades, largely in part to Blade Icewood. Now, Bigg Jo has linked with the late Motor City icon’s son Lil Blade for an always timely new single, “White Buffs Black Tee.” As expected, the track is tough as some galvanized 12s and ready to rip up the streets asap.

Miz Korona Feat. Guilty Simpson — “42 (Jackie Rob)” (Prod. by 14KT)

Some things get finer with age and Miz Korona definitely makes the list. Listen to her new 14KT-produced single “42” and hear the Motor City staple show off how she’s still sonning MCs half her age, even in her Jackie Rob year. Oh, and she’s got Guilty Simpson riding shotty. Bars never get old.

seeyousoon — “Fix Your Face” Video

Originality is hard to come by these days, but seeyousoon seems to stand out without fail. Case in point, their new single “Fix Your Face,” which finds the FLA collective showing off their catchy, furious flows atop quirky but banging production via a video that clearly understands the value of clever framing.

Sam Jay Feat. Smoove Quotes & Kayla Marque — “Impala Flow”

Another day, another dollar. That’s the theme of “Impala Flow” from Sam Jay, a cool, soulful joint from the Denver MC that fires up easily and offers a melodic flow that’s hard to shake.

Bodysync (Ryan Hemsworth x Giraffage) Feat. Daniela Andrade — “Suenos Bravos”

Separately, Ryan Hemsworth and Giraffage are extremely dope and talented artists I mess with heavy. Together, they are Bodysync, an electronic duo that makes club records people will unabashedly Shazam after about 26 seconds. They’ve got two songs total, both of which are high-end masterclasses in engaging dance production, but the title track “Suenos Bravos” is specifically a whimsical masterpiece that’s impossible to resist once that bassline drops. Stream both here and get in Sync stat.
