With music easily made and readily shared by new artists every day, there are hundreds of high quality songs that fly under the radar. Every week, @BEWARE4 scours the web to weed out the dimes from the duds and share the wealth via BEWARE’s Block, a collection of buzzing tracks from artists currently breaking ground in their respective genres.

Want to see your music featured here? Send your music to submissions@stillcrew.com with “Attn: BEWARE’s Block” in the subject.

K.A.A.N. — “Jnco”

Certain rappers have veered from their sound over time to earn more ears. K.A.A.N. has done the opposite. Listen to “Jnco” and you’ll see the mythical Maryland rapper has simply continued to go harder, dialing in even further on his rugged sound and overall goal of being the baddest. Hear the growth in full on K’s new Long Time No See album here.

Sahtyre — “Hindsight” Video

They say “Hindsight” is 20/20. Well, it’s also Sahtyre’s new single, which is clearly a bit twisted. The latest release from the LA spitter is a swirling tornado of fierce, fired-up raps that have clearly been inspired by a year of soaking up cataclysmic current events and really just overall madness coming to fruition. Matches my mood, that’s for sure.

Homeboy Sandman — “Stress” Video

Even when he’s not jumping across rooftops, Homeboy Sandman is still making some of the most captivating music videos out. Watch this new clip for his Quelle-Chris-produced single “Stress” and you’ll see the Queens native doing his best to expel his various anxieties, while they simply fight back and pile up, regardless. Funny how that works. Stream the Sandman’s full new project Don’t Feed The Monster here.

Oba Rowland — “Keep Trappin” Video

There isn’t a mood Oba Rowland can’t capture in song. The Detroit rapper’s latest in a never-ending barrage of singles is “Keep Trappin,” a down on your luck anthem that’s all too familiar for various reasons. Watch Oba help keep your chin up above and stream his Hope You’re Proud Of Me album here.

Earlly Mac Feat. Jayla Darden & Supakaine — “Indiana Jones”

There were like four tracks I was debating on choosing from Earlly Mac’s new W.H.E.W. release, but “Indiana Jones” gets the nod. This well-dressed collabo from Earl, Supakaine and Jayla Darden is a slow-burning R&B/rap joint that offers honest expectations to the fellas who think they’ve found Mrs. Right and in reality, have it all wrong. Earl’s range is off the charts on this short and sweet project, so make sure to check out the fresh release in full here.

Taylor J — “Whole Thangz”

Warning, the melody on Tayler J’s “Whole Thangz” will be stuck in your head the rest of the day. This new stand-out from the St. Paul rapper is a guitar-laden singalong that’s carried by natural confidence and a laid back delivery that’s got more stick than Elmers. Stream this and more high-priority jams via TJ’s new Still Ballin album here.

Chase Miracles — “D.O.N.” Video

My girl Chase Miracles is not playing around. Watch the sultry new video for the Detroit model-turnt-rapper’s new single “D.O.N.” and you’ll see she’s killing the game on multiple formats, delivering fierce, fearless raps that inspire females to capture the bag above all. Look for more high-end singles from Chase in the coming weeks and pre-order “D.O.N.” on Apple Music here.

Ol’ Burger Beats & Vuyo — “Athens”

Something tells me Ol Burger Beats and Vuyo are pretty easygoing guys. Stream to their new single “Athens” and you’ll hear a bunch of stoned-out but precisely-written lyrics atop mellow, perfectly-cooked production. The vibey mood isn’t overthought and the final product feels natural as watching three reruns of Seinfeld, back-to-back. We’ve all been there. Cop OBB and Vuyo’s new album Dialogue here and then buy more weed tomorrow.

Dixon Hill — “Damage Mode”

Let’s ease out of the Block this week with an instrumental groove from Dixon Hill. This Michigan-based producer’s new single “Damage Mode” is far from the destructive mood the title suggests, instead offering steadily-moving peace of mind vibes that will help settle your thoughts stat. Hear more from Hill when his Holodeck Beats: Program 3 beat tape drops Jan 21 via Fat Beats.
