With music easily made and readily shared by new artists every day, there are hundreds of high quality songs that fly under the radar. Every week, BEWARE scours the web to weed out the dimes from the duds and share the wealth via BEWARE’s Block, a collection of eight buzzing tracks from artists currently breaking ground in their respective genres.

DWN2EARTH — “Timeless”

Talk about a mood. Press play on DWN2EARTH’s “Timeless” new single and you’ll feel all surroundings come to a total stop, while you’re still able to walk around, touching all the frozen faces and places. Quiksilver vibes. This speed-altering record is simultaneously soft and hard, finding the ATL-based singer/producer combining cloud-like production with confident, racked up lyrics, providing a track that ultimately leaves listeners on cloud 10.

Felly Feat. Trip Carter — “Bag Season”

Considering how consistent Felly has been over the past year and change, “Bag Season” seems like an appropriate title for the CA resident’s latest single. Like the majority of Fel’s tracks, this new collaboration with Trip Carter feels good off rip, offering casually killer flows, potent melodies and a bounce that’s impossible to deny. Felly season is beginning to look like every season and I’m updating my calendar.

eso.XO.supreme — “Lonesome Dove” (Prod. By LexuzontheBeatz)

Some songs might offer lyrical content that doesn’t apply, but if the mood still offers the same sentiment, the track works either way. For me, that’s the case with eso.XO.supreme’s “Lonesome Dove.” Although I can’t really relate to the yayo-drowning direction eso takes to ease his pain, the track’s mellow vibe defintely helps me relieve my anxiety, while not activating my addict mentality. Job well done. Stream more audible xannys via eso.XO.supreme’s new Supreme Summer EP.

Rotimi Feat. Kranium — “Want More”

We all “Want More,” in some way, shape, or form. On Rotimi’s new single with Kranium, the rising NJ artist extends an arm to an out of touch love, letting her know he’s got more to offer than most. Considering Roti’s tropical speaker beater is radio ready and offers perfect summer vibes, there’s no doubt he can one up most guys off the street. Watch your ladies, fellas. Jeep Music Vol. 1 is available now on iTunes.

KT — “Peep Shit” (Prod. By Swell)

The tags in the Soundcloud post for KT’s “Peep Shit” are #R&B, #Rap and #nottrap. While that’s seemingly a dig at trap music, the fact is, he’s right. In a world where turn up’s genre of choice has infultrated the sonic sound of 60% of new releases in all genres, the Philly MC is offering a fire new single that doesn’t include a lick of 808s, trap hats, auto-tune or any current elements used to craft current music. Instead, this slow-burning bounce stands tall without any timely tricks, relying simply on good old fashioned fast raps, high-end singing and sample-based production from Swell that all come together for a unique, well-seasoned delight that immediately stands out from the pack.

Peter $un — “Marron” (Prod. By ORACLES)

A new Peter $un album dropped over the weekend? Awww shit. Just because I missed one opportunity to let the breezy vibes of Beautiful Piece Of Shit and my favorite track “Marron” take over my mood, doesn’t mean there aren’t 1000 more. Trips to the woods. Trips to the beach. Rides home from work. Meditating. Smoking weed. Definitely smoking weed. Basically, Peter makes music to vibe with wherever you’re ready to relax and not take things too seriously. If you’re into potent raps with a smooth sense of passiveness, stream $un’s full LP here.

Jabee — “Take Me Away”

Sick of overbearing, better-than-all-my-fans raps that leave your ears ringing? “Take Me Away” from Jabee needs your ears. Featuring bars upon bars and production that sounds like an early 90s En Vogue song, this record offers confident content that’s over the top and cool enough to digest on a whim. Listen to more of Jabee’s potent, easygoing punch on his well-rounded, six track Selfie EP.

Adanna Duru Feat. John Ibe — “Fingertips” Video

Get used to the name Adanna Duru. After listening to her new single “Fingertips” I was already impressed by the tantilizing vocals and overly sly synth bounce this slightly sweaty record offers. But, when I found out the 20-year-old also produced and wrote the song herself, well, that’s when I realized this LA-based singer was the total package.
