With music easily made and readily shared by new artists every day, there are hundreds of high quality songs that fly under the radar. Every week, @BEWARE4 scours the web to weed out the dimes from the duds and share the wealth via BEWARE’s Block, a collection of buzzing tracks from artists currently breaking ground in their respective genres.

JBrisko Feat. Traap — “Slo Mo”

After hitting the Block for the first time last fall with “Power,” JBrisko returns with “Slo Mo.” The timely, guitar-laced track jams something serious and is primed to run up numbers on streaming services all summer long.

Jequcory Davis Feat. Perrier Rosewood — “05 Fubu”

There was a time when everyone was on the “05 Fubu” team. Now, Jequcory Davis is calling iso plays for Perrier Rosewood, who’s hitting the paint hard with flavors galore on this glossy, flossy, and re-playable groove from the Detroit shotcaller’s new Phil Jackson project. Up your game and stream here.

L’Orange & Namir Blade Feat. Solemn Brigade — “Pipe Dream”

After a string of stand-out jams over the last few months, Namir Blade and L’Orange are back with another one for your chest. With assistance from L’O’s Marlowe partner Solemn Brigade, “Pipe Dream” is a chin-up, chest-thumping walk to work, heading towards another day of being fulfilled by doing something you’re proud of. Feels good, but there’s nothing easy about it.

Earlly Mac & Sango — “MearlGo 4"

Smooth and sincere, “MearlGo 4” is the latest light beam from Earlly Mac and Sango. This gem from the Michigan duo clocks in under two minutes, but carries positive vibes for days. Stream this more from Mac & Sango via their new MearlGo Vol. 2 EP here.

K.A.A.N. Feat. Blu— “Clock Out”

Repetition might seem redundant, but consistency is the key to success. That’s why K.A.A.N. can deliver tracks quality as “Clock Out” with ease. He’s been doing it for years. What I respect more though is that the effort and energy evoked in this sonic Duracell of a track are meant not to be shown off, but used as reinforcement for others to better themselves. If game alone isn’t reason to check out the Maryland MC’s new Kaizen album here, at least consider the fact the whole project is excellent.

6th Sense — “Spongebob Thermometer”

The last 365 and change have been tough, to say the absolute least. That sentiment is summed up exquisitely by 6th Sense on “Spongebob Thermometer.” Built on wobbly production and solid principles, this is an open book look into the NYC producer/MC’s currently-frazzled mindset, as he creaks open his door and starts to peak his head back out into the open. Let’s hope we all find our way into more upbeat surroundings in coming months.

Langston Bristol Feat. Marigold — “Weekend”

While a certain artist from Toronto may have redefined what the “Weekend” looks like for a certain audience, songs like this gem from Langston Bristol actually feel like the end cap of a normal person’s week. Nothing over the top, ideally easygoing and hopefully productive. Another great track from the Detroit rapper, who is currently batting 1.000 on my scorecard.

Sundur Feat. Keith Lawrence — “To The Top” Video

Very rarely does the path “To The Top” go smoothly. However, while Sundur’s new single might offer a dreary, rugged soundscape, the mood is intoxicating enough to hop along for the ride, no matter the outcome. Someone should try and get a Gangsta Gibbs verse on a remix to this.
