Premiere: ElZhi And Drey Skonie Offer “Lessons” To Prosper Via Calming New Single From BEWARE

The Detroit-area producer has recruited some high end talent for the lead single off his upcoming debut album, ‘Woodward Ave’

Well, look what we have here. After releasing a few under the radar instrumental projects over the past fews, our very own writer-turnt-producer BEWARE has released a new single with ElZhi. Yes, the ElZhi.

“Lessons” is the lead single off B’s upcoming album Woodward Ave. and features the legendary Detroit wordsmith delivering bars upon bars of intricate game, educating listeners on how to get themselves out of mental slumps and make proper sacrifices for success. El delivers that lyrical battery power with the touch of a pillow, easing listeners into his life advice via a mellow collection of memorable piano melodies, grooving bass, and light percussion. The former Slum Village member is complimented well by the crooning cool of rising 313 singer Drey Skonie, who reminds listeners to lean on the song’s message when things get rocky. Since we’ve all been there, I’m sure most of ya’ll can relate.

Woodward Ave also features appearances from Detroit-based talent like Royce Da 5'9,” Chavis Chandler, Payroll Giovanni, Red Pill, Seven The General, Nick Speed, Nolan The Ninja, Adam Reverie, Oba Rowland, Jibreel Price, Cool African, Melanie Rutherford and more. The project will be available on all streaming platforms Sept. 1, 2017.
